Marist Community

There is a Marist Community here at Pukekaraka.

Fr David Gledhill SM (Pā Rāwiri) is in Heretaunga Masonic Rest Home. Pā Peter Healy SM and Pā Piripi Cody SM live in Mission House.

Frs Peter and Phil are in Māori Pastoral Care linked with Ngāti Kapu Whānau. They are involved in the local St Mary’s Faith Community.

They link with the local Catholic Worker Community in Otaki. Fr Peter is on the Ecological and Justice and Peace Commissions for the Archdiocese of Wellington. Fr Phil links with the wider Māori Catholic Community, such as the Hui Aranga.
